Participating in Humira Trial
from Brian W.

Hello Ed.  I am involved in a Adalimumab trial.  Can you or anybody tell me how well this has worked out? Also would like to be in touch with other people involved in this trial.  -Brian W. ([email protected])

Ed’s Response:  Hi Brian.  You're the first person to contact FlakeHQ who is participating in these trials.  For more information about the Adalimumab trials (brand name Humira) the National Psoriasis Foundation write-up is here:

According to this article, it may be several years before the trials are complete and the drug — if it proves useful for P and P-arthritis — is released.  (It is already used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.)  It is another in the family of “biologic” drugs that use naturally-grown proteins to inhibit very specific actions of the immune system.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.  Anyone else reading this participating in these trials?  -Ed
