I’ve Seborrheic Dermatitis and Can Relate
from Mike T.

Came across your site while searching for a product called "SkinZinc." I've got Seborrheic Dermatitis, and I'll tell ya man, I can relate big time. I've suffered with the scaling and flaking but probably not as bad as someone with full blown P. I miss swimming at the family camp or taking my shirt off on a nice day, but what can you do?  I can tell a person with bad P and I really feel for them.  I've tried all kinds of things but Dovenex [U.K. equivalent of U.S. Dovonex? –Ed] seems to work best.  Until my body gets used to it.  Then I use something else for a week.

All I can say to fellow sufferers is be strong.  Enjoy life.  It's much too short. Your site made me laugh, though.  Especially Flaker’s Jargon. Your site is in my favorites! Later!  -Mike T.

Ed’s Response:  Thanks for writing, Mike.  Glad you enjoy the site.  We flakers need to be reminded occasionally that P isn’t the only culprit.  In fact, derms have problems diagnosing P sometimes because there are several other skin conditions that can cause similar symptoms (lesions et. al.). -Ed
